Thank you so much for getting your grades in for report cards and for an incredible Fun Run today. I appreciate the enthusiasm you bring to this event and I am so proud of our runners. We will be excited to share how much we raised next week, so stay tuned! Our Hosp tour was blown away, AGAIN, by what they saw when they visited today. Some of the biggest compliments they had were how engaged our learners were and how involved the educators were with the children. THANK YOU for leaving such a positive impression on them. I notice the increased use of the outdoor spaces with the nicer weather. THANK YOU for continuing to take advantage of ALL of our learning spaces. YOU ROCK!

Now that CISD has finalized Boundary Realignment, it will help our school to get information from our FamiLEEs so that we can prepare accordingly for the 2019-2020 school year. Thank you for the 300 responses we have received so far. We kindly request that the rest of our 860 famiLEEs take time to fill out this SHORT form so that we can plan for adequate placement for learners at Lee. The Grandfathering and Transfer deadline is 4:30 pm on March 29.

SPRING CONFERENCES
You can begin your Spring Conferences at any time, now. Please give due diligence to make contact with all parents to review their learner's data and goal setting. Keep documentation of parents who attend conferences. During your time together, I would encourage you to listen for if a parent/child would like to make a change in house for the 2019-2020 school year. Maybe their learner is not working well with classmates? Perhaps they need a change of classmates after multiple years? Please write these requests down and EMAIL them to Chantel. This makes sure that we have a second layer of documentation to double check when class lists are created. In addition, remind parents that we DO NOT take requests for house colors or designers and we do our best to have siblings in the same house. With the realignment, we will do our very BEST to keep as many learners in their house to loop up, but we will have to move some to balance our building. Parents WILL be notified by campus administration before Meet the Designer Night, if their learner is being moved. Please ask me if you have any questions!!! You can log extra hours, outside of contract time, here to document for May 24.SAVE THE DATE
LEE LIFE PRINCIPLE:
Compassion- ability to share another's feelings or ideas
LESSON IN LEADERSHIP:
When a designer is having a serious conversation with a learner, don't look at that learner. You wouldn't want your classmates looking at you in a similar situation.
