Week of February 9

Thank you for dealing with the Apple TV issues today.  I know this is not the best scenario.  Your positivity is always appreciated!!  Thank you also for locking and cleaning up your spaces before you leave today.  We will have our school in use on Saturday.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • There is a new supply of clear book boxes in the Broadcast Studio closet for new learners
  • That our Renewable Energy Lego Kits are in?  Samira is going to be our expert until Fed Ex Day where you can learn more.  Please thank PTO for this $5000 purchase through shout outs on Twitter or cards they can read at Tuesday's meeting.
  • That I have a new talent?  Just call me the cow wrangler!  After school yesterday and before school this morning, I had to help some friends make their way back home.  Thanks for the funny picture Janell, and thank you, Jessica, for helping me the SECOND time (in front of four busloads of learners).

    LIVING WELL IN COPPELL

Thank you for downloading the app on Wednesday.  If you take any photos, post them on the website and tweet them to @LWnCoppell and #HEBCommunityChallenge.  We have earned the city of Coppell and Coppell ISD LOADS of points so far.  YAY!

    DIGITAL SIGNAGE
Your house signage looks GREAT!  THANK YOU for submitting these.  Please add to your content monthly.

    "LEE"DERSHIP COUNCIL
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have our first Spirit Stick sale.  We will try to minimize the disruption to learning when delivering.  Thank you for your support of this program.  We are already working on Super Spur ones for the office.

    TRANSFORMATION IN ACTION VISITS
On Tuesday, we will have multiple visitors visiting Lee throughout the day.  Visitors are looking for evidence of digital learning.  Please make sure your digital signage is turned on and continue leading your learners as you always do.  YOU are incredible!

Layne, Kylie, and I will be visiting two McKinney campuses on this day.  We can't wait to return with ideas we can use at Lee!

    VALENTINE'S DAY PARTIES
One of our parents is highly sensitive to our use of styrofoam and plastic (being a Green School and all).  She has donated cups and tablecloths for the Valentine Parties.  Since your room moms will need to set up for parties at 1:30, please have learners packed up, leave back packs in rooms,  and join us in the gym at 1:30.  Todd is sending out an alternate schedule that will not affect lunch times.

    PLEASE HELP
If you have a learner who has a parent picking them up for an appointment, please keep them with you, unless you are going outside to recess during the time.  They should not be sent to the office until the office calls when their parent arrives to get them.

Please submit your attendance by the end of morning broadcast.  We are reminding you on there so that the office can take care of their responsibilities.  THANK YOU for your cooperation!

    PROFESSIONAL LEARNING NEXT MONDAY
Please be ready to share one of your house CBLs by next Monday.  We will "critical friends" the units after hearing Alan November at CHS in the morning.  It will be most helpful if your CBLs are in the CBL template.  Please have a copy of the CBL your house is sharing to Todd and Chantel before the end of the day Friday, February 13. THANK YOU!

    SUPRISE!
To show you how much you are LOVED,  please join us at your regularly scheduled lunch time on Friday, for lunch from ChickFilA.  WE LOVE YOU!

    "LEE"DERSHIP TIP OF THE WEEK:
If someone in the class wins a game or does something well, we will congratulate that person. If you win or do well at something, do not brag. When you lose, do not show anger.
