Week of January 26, 2026

Thank you for your work in your design time.  I love that we have place holders for your learner-led conferences the last week of school.  I can't wait to see your banners looking beautiful hanging through our school after Monday's parade!  Store them somewhere SAFE so that custodians don't accidentally throw them away.  I’ll be off tomorrow, but please know I am closely monitoring CISD communication regarding the weather. On Friday, please leave as soon as learners are safely dismissed.  Be sure to take home anything you might need in the event of a possible day off on Monday. Also, from experience… if there is anything on the floor that could be damaged by water, please place it on tables or counters. IYKYK. CISD will continue to monitor road conditions on Sunday afternoon and will communicate any decisions regarding school closures or delays via text, email, and social media.  Stay tuned and stay SAFE!

DID YOU KNOW:
  • the sensory pathway between STEAM and the cafe is READY for learner use?  Will you please review this short video with your learners before they interact with the path?  Please help us keep this path in great shape for all to enjoy.
  • Admin wants to make 100 calls on January 29?  Will you please help us by submitting the name of 1 boy and 1 girl from your class in this form so that we can brag on them?  We can't wait to gush on our top 100 kiddos!
  • Josna returns on Monday?  We are happy to have both of our new mommas back at school.
  • that we have 2 new student teachers at Lee on Wednesdays and Thursdays?  Rikki is hosting Elizabeth Dickerson and Gina is hosting Margaret Zentil.
