Week of February 9, 2026

Thank you for such a wonderful FamiLEE Game Night. Our learners were incredibly proud to share the games they created, and the smiles across the building said it all. A special thank you to Priscilla for the time and care you poured into supporting our students, and to our entire staff for helping make the evening such a success. I truly appreciate everyone staying late after the staff meeting to be part of it.

I will be out on Thursday and Friday. If you need anything, Angel will be happy to help, and you can always text me if something comes up.

DID YOU KNOW:
  • if you missed donating socks this week, we are not dropping them off until Monday so we will still accept donations in the front office?
  • STAAR Field Test is Friday for 4th and 5th grades? Please remind parents that we will not have FamiLEE Lunch and there are no student pick ups before noon.
  • our new office aide will start on Monday?  Her name is Sapna.
  • we will collect Hundred Day pics and  FamiLEE Game Night pics in these folders for the yearbook?  THANKS for contributing!
  • school Board Members and Dr. Shivers will be walking with Angel and CK on Monday from 1:30-2:30?  Please showcase your BEST for these guests during this window.
  • Kendall has finished her digital manual for sensory supports for our campus?  Please take a moment to read over her research.  In two weeks, there will be a post survey she is required to submit.  You are welcome to wait to do this on Friday, February 13.
  • the CISD Child Nutrition Department sent home paper breakfast and lunch menus for the month of February? These menus highlight special menu days and fun facts to help build excitement around school meals.  Please put them in learner take home folders.
  • one of our very own Spurs is competing in the Region 1-6A Varsity Wrestling Championship at the Coppell Arena? Competition starts on Friday and will continue into Saturday, starting 9:30AM.  Ishitha Mallidi is a senior and one of the wrestling team captains. She attended Lee Elementary, is a three-time varsity starter, a two-time state qualifier, and finished as runner-up in last week’s district championship. Go Ishitha!
